Rosado

The Rosado Family:
Patricia Eugenia is my sister. She and her huband are focused on working with families in Guadalajara, Mexico in partnership with YWAM and also with the Local Church.
They are helping to bring healing to families at their core so they can grow from there.  Their focus is on Family & Children's ministries.

Herbert and I met back in 2010 when I was working with Teen Challenge and we did some work on the streets of Guatemala City.  We worked together with people that lived on the streets and faced addiction and other problems.  In his own words Herbert described a little what they are doing:

"Our work in Chiquimula, Ipala began around 2007, where there are 117 families in Colinas and 70 families in El Suyate. We began by visiting the families to learn more about their needs. Soon we began an educational project, in which scholarships have been provided to the children and young people of the community.  The scholarship requirements were to carry out their daily tasks, study for their exams, not have less than 75 points in their grades and do social or community work in their own community.

We have also given medical follow-up to various families. Due to an accident during the cultivation of corn, a young man severely injured and almost lost his eye.  A young girl of 18 years has suffered from Psoriasis since she was 10 years old, and then was diagnosed with Diabetes, along with her 16-year-old sister.  Following the death of their mother, they were left orphans, as their father is not present in their lives, and their brothers do not help them either.

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic, basic grain and non-perishable food delivery projects have been carried out.   Distributions are made according to the number of family members in each home, and a special bag of food for elderly adults was also given.  In this way we have been able to bring support directly to their doors.

We also have delivered equipment, furniture, and clothing to different families depending on their needs.  Home visits were made through a group of local volunteers to get to know each need more closely and specifically.

We have also championed bio-safety projects: giving everyone antibacterial soap, gloves and bleach (for sanitizing). And a school project: to deliver educational kits to each child for the start of classes. Supplies are chosen according to the children's school level: pre-primary, primary, basic and diversified. Thus far, the families of two communities have been benefited, both the community of El Suyate and the community of Colinas."

Rodrigo Molina

I had the pleasure of meeting Rodrigo nearly 20 years ago in totally different circumstances.  At that time he gave me a place to live and supported me so that eventually I found a different life with the Lord.

Rodrigo is living in Costa Rica and focusing on loving and feeding people on the streets.  He shares his time with them and brings sandwiches or a meal to share.

Just as I did 20 years ago, most of the people he meets on the street just need a friend.  Many will live their whole life there, and they just need someone to love them, and show them Love.  Rodrigo is that kind of person.

Familia Qauyson

Greetings! We are Alex & Katrin Quayson, from Ghana and Switzerland. Together
with our three kids, we work at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Minneapolis. We
are called to “equip and send the next generation to be His light to the nations".
What does that look like? Our campus runs two Discipleship Training Schools
(DTS) every year, where young people (18 and older) from all over the world
come and spend five months with us, to grow in their relationship with God and
practice a missional lifestyle. We are both involved in teaching these students, in
particular about Spiritual Warfare and How to Study the Bible, topics that are
close to our hearts. Katrin also co-leads a 3-month Bible School for those DTS
graduates who want to dive deeper into the Word of God. Alex maintains YWAM
Minneapolis’ website, and we like to participate in outreaches in the Twin Cities
to share the gospel with the many cultures represented there.
